living a safe, healthy, and productive life.

The GBCI Refugee Support team works in collaboration with New Neighbor Interfaith Alliance (NNIA), a group of faith communities working to support newly arrived immigrants and refugees in Maryland. The Refugee Support team engages Asbury residents and community members in opportunities to volunteer and support in a time when our new neighbors are in great transition.

 

How can you support GBCI and NNIA's refugee resettlement work? 

Support this critical work by volunteering, giving furniture or other household items, donating to GBCI's Refugee Fund to support rent and utilities for families, and joining the GBCI Refugee Support team to plan, share, and coordinate activities.
